Strategic Academic Units
Upon recommendations of the Russian Ministry of Health the University is establishing Strategic Academic Units (StrAU) that will have a key role in enhancing the global competitiveness of the University. StrAUs are regarded as aggregation of units with cutting-edge research and academic agenda, which influence significantly the University activities and receive prioritized funding within the Program.
In pursuance of the Project 5-100 goals, 2 STRATEGIC ACADEMIC UNITS* (StrAUs) are being established within Sechenov University to facilitate its advance – at first as a part of the program, and then in the global academic rankings.
