Integration of evidence-based medicine into doctor’s clinical practice in Russia

Product development and implementation of evidence-based practice: support to physicians in making evidence-based decisions; provision of professional training and knowledge regarding implementation of evidence-based medicine in the clinical environment; improvement of medical care in the Russian Federation, measured by patient-related outcomes.

Integration of methodology for conduct of systematic reviews in Russia

Publication of systematic reviews and meta-analyses on topics of high relevance for the health care in Russia

1. Expert compliance assessment of clinical guidelines with the principles of evidence-based medicine and recommendations by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation

3. Involving patients, professionals, and health care policy makers in prioritizing health-care topics and/or in developing research methods, and in implementation and dissemination of research results

Publications of systematic reviews and meta-analyzes on diagnosis and treatment of internal diseases in international scientific journals	The center should expand collaboration with the Russian branch of the Cochrane Hepato-Biliary Group (CHBG) and the Cochrane organization (Cochrane), the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), the European Union of Medical Specialists (EUMS), University’s Evidence-Based Medicine Centers and Independent Collaborations, and enlarge the partnership with the Finnish Physicians Society (DOUDECIM)	Over the next five years, it is planned to train and educate own scientific personnel, who would be able to work with the global medical Big Data (big data) and as part of Data Mining methods (data mining methods).

Validation of the Russian Clinical Practice Guidelines and adaptation of the medical decision-making system of the Finnish Scientific Medical Society DUODECIM (EBMG-Evidence Based Medicine Guidelines) to the Russian clinical practice

Development of a national information resource "Medical Solutions for Specialists –Sechenov University” («SechenovDataMed»), based on evidence-based medicine and modern digital technologies, for the specialties on the list of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation
