On April 1-5, 2019, Sechenov University will host a large – International Conference  "Week of Medical Education-2019".

Over the years, the event has acquired the status of an international and transformed into a global educational and communication project, the purpose of which is to respond quickly to the global challenges of the time in the training of doctors of the new formation.

The conference will include plenary and breakout sessions, the award ceremony of the coordinating Council for education Health and Medical Sciences, an exhibition of achievements in the fields of medicine and education, as well as the 7th Russian Student Olympiad in practical medical training "Golden Medskill" among students of 4-6 courses of medical universities and so on.

The anniversary conference is already beginning to delight with innovations. The 2nd International Symposium Doctor as a Humanist will be held on April 1-2. This is a unique project in Russia, where medicine, philosophy, ethics and literature come into contact. Sechenov University is the locomotive of this project, which also involves Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), Queens University (Belfast), Turges Mures Medical University (Romania).
