Sechenov University will be hosting the 3rd International Medical Investment Forum at Sechenov Congress Centre on 26 November 2019. The forum will start with the opening address from Sechenov Rector Pyotr Glybochko and the Federal Assembly Deputy Chairwoman Galina Karelova followed by the welcome speeches from the guests of honour including Chairwoman of the Russian Council Valentina Matviyenko, Minister of Health Veronika Skvotsova, Deputy Dmitry Morozov and other senior government figures.

The focus of the upcoming forum is on the importance of investments in healthcare. The speakers will talk about the current situation with investments in healthcare in the Russian Federation, the role of investments in the development of healthcare in Russia, investments in patient safety. Dr João Breda, Head of the WHO Division of Noncommunicable Diseases and Lifecourse will be talking about the importance of prevention of noncommunicable diseases. Finally, Valery Sergienko from the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will present a club of investors in the pharmaceutical industry.
