BDMC brings together specialists in biomaterials, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, 3D bioprinting, medical robotics, organs-on-chip and AI in bioproduction. It is organized by Zhejiang University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the journal Bio-Design and Manufacturing.

Following the visit, the parties agreed to continue active cooperation, expand academic exchange programmes, and pursue joint research.

The conference programme covered a wide range of topics, including pharmaceutical workforce training, pharmacovigilance, reimbursement and market access, health technology assessment, rational use of medicines, and personalised medicine.

Fourteen students from Zhili College at Tsinghua University visited Russia at the invitation of Sber’s School 21 to take part in an intensive programme on AI and interdisciplinary research, with a special focus on medicine and biotechnology.

The main goal was to showcase the opportunities and achievements of Russian medicine to young specialists from the first foreign branch of Sechenov University, demonstrating how innovative technologies are applied in clinical practice.

The students trained in various specialized departments of the university hospital, matching their professional interests.
