Department of Advanced Cell Technologies of Institute for Regenerative Medicine perform R&D projects in the field of cell therapy and tissue engineering.

There are in the Department of world-class facility for manufacture of biomedical cell products – clean rooms of 5-6-7 ISO class, which were designed and built according to European GMP standard.

Scientific interest:

  1. Development of new methods of cell therapy and tissue engineering for different fields of medicine.
  2. Development of manufacture technologies of cell products based on stem cells and somatic cells.
  3. Development of experimental animal models and in vitro models for investigation of cell products efficacy.
  4. Development of devices for cell cultivation and tissue/organ growing.

R&D projects:

  • Tissue engineering of the bile duct
  • New 3D printing scaffolds for reconstructive urology.
  • Reversion of liver cirrhosis under HSS (hepatic stimulator substance) treatment.
  • 3D scaffolds for reconstructive surgery.
