Attention! Sechenov International Olympiad - the shortest way to enter the Sechenov Medical University for foreigners!

We invite foreign citizens, mastering educational programs of the secondary (full) general education and the Bachelor’s programs to take part in unique intellectual educational project - Sechenov International Olympiad in Biology and Chemistry, carried out by the Sechenov University!

The main objective of the International Olympiad - the creation of conditions for medical education by talented students, their further professional development and vocational guidance in the field of medicine and life sciences. In 2018, the International Olympiad in Biology and Chemistry is carried out in the form of testing.

Participants will be offered at 20 test items in English and Russian languages, containing issues of the main sections of these 2 subjects. The Olympiad jury is composed by the representatives of the Sechenov university administration, teachers of specialized departments of the university.

The winner* and prize-winners of the International Olympiad will have the pre-emptive rights to enroll in the Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. In coordination with the regional organizers - partners of the University in 2017 the Olympiad is held in the following countries: Kingdom of Bahrain, Malaysia, India, People’s Republic of China and Islamic Republic of Iran and also in Moscow (Russia).

Dates of the International Olympiad - from March to July 2018.

To participate in the competition we invite pupils of the graduation classes insecondary schools and colleges, receiving in 2018 a certificate of secondary education (or students, already have it).

The day before the Olympiad, each participant has to pass registration, presenting international passport. The participation in the Olympiad is free.

The overall winner of the Olympiad in each full-time tour, who collected the maximum score in two disciplines will be awarded by the Educational Grant for MBBS in Medicine or Dentistry (Education at the University within the framework of quotas, granted by the Government of the Russian Federation for the training of foreign nationals, including tuition, accommodation and a monthly stipend). In case of equal maximum scores collected by two or more participants among them additional testing tour in biology is carried out.
