The Times Higher Education magazine, which publishes prestigious annual Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, has released its 2022 subject rankings. We are delighted to announce that Sechenov University has significantly improved its positions in two important subject areas — Life Sciences and Clinical & Health.

In Life Sciences, Sechenov University is now ranked in the 301–400 group, moving by more than 300 positions up. And in Clinical & Health, Sechenov University has also boosted its reputation — being now placed on positions 501–600.

The global 2022 edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings was published earlier, on 2 September. In that list, Sechenov University also showed better results than the year before. For 2022, Sechenov is ranked 19th out of 60 universities from Russia, while keeping the reputation of the country’s best medical school.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 include 1,662 universities from 99 countries and territories.
