The university has announced a new series of educational workshops for students and faculty members.

The first part of the workshops, InnoLab, was launched today by Ekaterina Morozova, Director of Open University Skolkovo and Vadim Tarasov, Director of the Institute of Translational Medicine and Biotechnologies. InnoLab or Laboratory of Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development is aimed at young tech entrepreneurs and the support of student tech projects in Russian universities. Innolab workshop spans over three days, during which Sechenov faculty members will get the chance to discuss the development strategies and approaches for Sechenov University, as well as fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems among its students. The panel includes speakers from Generium, AstraZeneca, BIOCAD, Primer Capital, RBV Capital and other companies.

IdLab opens on 13 December with a three-day educational program for students aimed at developing ideas for innovative science projects, finding project partners and forming project teams.
