The future of medicine for women's health was presented at the III Sechenov Forum on Motherhood and Childhood

Around one hundred participants shared their discoveries, research, and best practices. Over two days, nearly 17,000 experts participated in the Forum, both onsite and online.
Special attention was given to the topic of preserving women's health and providing the chance to become a mother, even for those diagnosed with conditions requiring serious treatment incompatible with pregnancy.
Participants presented innovative approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, endometriosis, placenta accreta, as well as methods for diagnosing hereditary diseases. The potential of artificial intelligence in obstetrics and gynecology was discussed. For example, AI can already identify the most motile sperm for successful in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Two projects from the Institute of Regenerative Medicine sparked particular interest among attendees. These projects focus on restoring reproductive organs by printing bioequivalents. Scientists are currently testing an artificial urethra and preparing a bioequivalent of the ovarian stroma for experiments.
