Ben Sowter, Senior Vice President at QS and Managing Director of the QS Intelligence Unit:

‘There has perhaps never been a time in history when the importance and value of medical research and healthcare has been at the forefront of so many people’s minds. The pandemic has shown us daily evidence of the amazing commitment and contributions made by healthcare workers in our medical centres and universities, as well as those in research centres and universities who have worked tirelessly to develop the COVID-19 vaccines which have already saved thousands of lives.

This QS Subject Focus Summit will explore what COVID-19 has taught us about healthcare and medical education and what the future will look like. I look forward to hearing the views of our expert speakers as they discuss important topics including genomic sequencing, digitalisation, and public health funding’.
