Traditional therapy of drug toxidermia, which includes antihistamines and desensitizing agents, cannot stop manifestations of the pathological process in many cases, while the forced appointment of systemic glucocorticoids can lead to the development of un-desired complications. The review gives a detailed description of various mechanisms of drug toxidermia and provides information about the development of tests to identify patients with increased risk of drug toxidermia.

The reactivity of T-cells in a screening cell migration test (SCMT) in vitro in patients with recurrent erysipelas and healthy individuals to immunomodulatory drugs - Derinat, Roncoleukin, Gamma-plant, Leikinferon - have been studied. Significant differences in migratory activity of leucocytes (MAL) in respond to a variety of immunomodulators, depending on their concentration, have been determined. It is assumed that the acceleration of MAL to certain concentrations of studied immunomodulators can be interpreted as an indicator of the "SOS" response, and the introduction of immunomodulators in this period may have a disadvantageous effect on inflammation and the formation of immune response.

We studied the influence of magnetite nanoparticles (FeO•Fe 2 O 3 ) and quantum dots (CdSe/ZnS coated with mercaptopropionic acid) on the expression of 5 common reference genes (BA, B2M, PPIA, UBC, and YWHAZ) in peripheral blood cells from 20 volunteers by reverse transcription PCR method. The stability of the expression of reference genes varied depending of the cells type and chemical structure of nanoparticles. The level of YWHAZ mRNA after exposure by nanoparticles demonstrated highest stability in lymphocytes, neutrophils, and monocytes. Stability of YWHAZ expression was confirmed by Western blotting. Our findings suggest that YWHAZ is the most suitable as the reference gene.
