Основными направлениями научно-исследовательской работы кафедры являются:

  • Изучение проблемы диагностики и лечения различных фенотипов и тяжелых форм бронхообструктивных заболеваний
  • Изучение и ведение регистров интерстициальных и редких генетически детерминированных заболеваний легких;
  • Диагностика, оценка эффективности и безопасности новых лекарственных препаратов у пациентов с легочной гипертензией;
  • Разработка и внедрение в клиническую практику новых инструментальных методов исследования при болезнях органов дыхания

·         изучение механики дыхания, газообмена, стратегии и тактики респираторной поддержки у пациентов формами хронических заболеваний органов дыханияи дыхательной недостаточностью

В условиях пандемии COVID-19 сотрудниками кафедры был инициирован и в настоящее время проводится ряд научных исследований по диагностике и лечению пациентов с новой коронавирусной инфекцией:

·         Изучение эффективности различных ингаляционных препаратов в лечении тяжелых форм COVID-19

·         Биологическая терапия при COVID-19: клиническая эффективность и профиль безопасности различных таргетных антицитокиновых препаратов, предикторы их эффективности

·         Исследование работы вспомогательных дыхательных мышц, диафрагшмальной дисфункции и паренхимы легких при использовании различных инструментальных методов в оценке клинического течения и прогноза при COVID-19

·         Изучение механики дыхания и газообмена, работы дыхательных мышц при неинвазивной и инвазивной респираторной поддержке у пациентов с COVID-19

·         Изучение риска развития острого легочного сердца, дисфункции правого желудочка, а также терапевтических возможностей их коррекции у пациентов с COVID-19
