The Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject employs the same rigorous and balanced range of 13 performance indicators used in the overall World University Rankings, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual fields. 

THE uses 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons, trusted by students, academics, university leaders, industry and governments.
It highlights the universities that are leading medicine, dentistry and health subjects.
This year’s ranking has expanded to include 500 institutions, up from 100 last year.
The performance indicators are grouped into five areas: Teaching (the learning environment), Research (volume, income and reputation), Citations (research influence), International outlook (staff, students and research) and Industry income (knowledge transfer). 

Sechenov University is ranked within 601+ group among top world universities for both subject rankings: “Life Sciences”, and “Clinical, Pre-clinical & Health” as well.
