Sechenov University has concluded cooperation agreement with Shvabe Holding and BARS Group (both companies are part of the Russia Rostec group).
The document was signed within the framework of BIOTECHMED Forum (September 10-11, Gelendzhik, Russia).
In accordance with the agreement Shvabe Holding will provide Sechenov University with domestic medical equipment, incl. mobile medical devices. The parties have also agreed to introduce practical classes with BARS medical information systems into educational process. Moreover, the best innovative products for medicine and e-health, created by the students of Sechenov University, will be selected for mass production by Rostec Group.

Prof. Petr V. Glybochko, the University’s rector emphasized: "Signing such agreements is a significant event for digital education not only at Sechenov University, but in the system of higher medical education in Russia as a whole. It will promote advanced Russian developments in practical healthcare. In 2018, we opened the Institute of Digital Medicine at Sechenov University, which helps in applying advanced technologies in practice, obtaining relevant demand knowledge and skills".
