The main area of focus for Sechenov University within the framework of Academic Excellence Project is international research activities and development. The University regularly holds training activities with the leading educational organizations aiming at the development of international standards for research competencies of scientists.

Sechenov University successfully held workshops on the development of communication skills for creation scientific environment of Researcher Connect in February, 2018. The workshops were carried out by UK consultant and broadcaster, specialist in Social Sciences and Humanities Mr. Adair Richards and coach in scientific communication Mrs. Rachel Brazi.

The participants improved the skills in the art of making presentation and academic writing, tried effective techniques, worked in a team environment to create a plan for scientific project and to develop a grant application then.

The participants have also finished a seminar on online promotion of research activities and completed a module on effective written communication, which is important for keeping contacts within the international academic environment.
