This is the first time that our country has hosted an international conference on treatment of prostate cancer, the most common cancer in males. The event titled Prostate Cancer Management: Change is Coming was a joint effort on the part of Sechenov University and EAU Society of Uro-Technology (ESUT).

The organizers stressed the key aspect of modern medical science: any cutting edge technology quickly becomes a thing of the past. Among the key topics covered were biomarkers, imaging techniques, lasers and focal treatment which hold the key to the future of prostate cancer management.
