Medical Class at Moscow School Project was included in top-100 world education projects

"Medical Class at Moscow SchoolJoint Project conducted by Sechenov University and the Department of Education of the city of Moscow, was included in top-100 world education projects.

The Project was highly appreciated by world experts at the HundrED Summit, which was held on November 7-9, 2018 in Helsinki.

"Our project implements multi-level system of independent knowledge assessment, combines specialized medical classes working at medical universities and organization of continuing professional education within a single educational space. It is worth noting that today we assess quality of student learning, and evaluate teacher quality as well. Since February, 2017 the University has opened its doors to 500 teachers of Moscow schools in order to master teaching methods in Chemistry and Biology. Such efforts have already improved the quality of student training. As for instance, four years ago graduates of Moscow medical classes entering Sechenov University had an average exam score of 82, now they have about 94 scores", - notes Prof. V. Glybochko, the University’s rector.

Today, 70 schools participate in this Project, and 45 schools are willing to join it. Schools are equipped with modern equipment, and their students participate in various contests and conferences.
