Sechenov University held an international celebration so-called "Friendship Day". Annually foreign students from  partner universities, who undertake summer internship at Sechenov University, are delighted to take part in such events. The students introduce culture and traditions of their countries, perform national songs & dances, treat to their most popular dishes.

This year young medics from the universities of Serbia, Bulgaria and Armenia participated in the event. Sechenov students told their foreign colleagues about Russian culture, introduced an old Russian tradition for greeting important guests with bread and salt. So, all participants had an opportunity to try National Russian Loaf!
"Friendship Day is traditionally held at Sechenov University to show how much do medical students have in common, to represent different countries and cultures," notes  Mr. Maxim Voskresensky, head of the Department of strategic development and internationalization of Sechenov University.
