Essential Skills in Medical Education: three-day training course has been launched at Sechenov University

Three-day training course "Essential Skills in Medical Education" has been started on October 5, 2018 at Sechenov University. It's conducted by the Sechenov University's International Institute for Professional Development in partnership with the International Association for medical education (AMEE – Association for Medical Education in Europe) aimed at professional development of the teaching staff in accordance with the best international practices.
This training course helps to ensure understanding basic principles of evidence-based medicine (EBM) and transforming them into practical skills for use in daily professional activities. Each participant will be provided with useful information about theory & practice that will contribute to professional development. The course will actively develop soft skills and practical approaches to teaching, learning and assessment.


The training supervisor is Prof. Trevor Gibbs, AMEE International Development Officer, co-head of the AMEE Representative Office at Sechenov University.
