According to the amendments to the Federal Law  ”On legal status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation” (from January 11, 2018),  the period of temporary stay in Russia for foreign citizens, who study at the preparatory faculties and departments of the federal educational institutions, shall be extended by the entire period of study (from admission routine to the graduation ceremony).
It'll definitely contribute successful development of  academic mobility and intercultural communication.
