Prof. Trevor Gibbs, AMEE International Development Officer, of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), not only participated in the opening ceremony of the Russian representative office of AMEE at Sechenov University, but also conducted seminar on "Fundamental skills in medical education" for the faculty members of Sechenov University.

The course is part  of AMEE-ESME courses for the faculty who are willing to deepen their understanding of the basic principles of the educational process, improve professional skills, learn the latest international trends and best practices.
The seminar was successfully finished with issuing certificates. At the end of the training, Professor Trevor Gibbs noted that 3 days of training were really productive due to active discussions with the participants. The participants of the course noted the full value of presented by the Professor information. They noted that it helps to make clear how to apply the acquired knowledge in teaching and research.

AMEE representative office opened at Sechenov University in May 2018 will continue to implement the best international practices in the Russian medical education, in order to support with its integration into the global educational platform.
