The paper presents the results of research and development of the hardware-software complex of infrared diaphanoscopy, intended for early automatic detection and numerical evaluation of the inflammation stage of periodontal tissues. The possibility of using the technology of infrared diaphanoscopy for the detection of periodontal inflammation foci at the preclinical stage, as well as for the numerical evaluation of the periodontal inflammatory process and control of the effectiveness of treatment is shown.
