At present, there is an increase in the oncological pathology of the maxillofacial region from 1.5% to 2% to 3% to 3.5%.1-3 Osteosarcoma is one of diseases of this group.4,5 The incidence of incapacitation in patients with osteosarcoma raises concerns of the medical community.6,7 It is caused by a wide range of factors. In the maxillofacial practice, they include: a series of complex reconstructive operations, a long postoperative period, complications and side effects of surgical interventions, mainly in the form of a long-lasting pain syndrome, deformity of the facial skull, leading to functional disorders and aesthetic defects, and emotional disorders.
