The bilateral cooperation agreement in Medicine and Education was signed by Prof. Petr V. Glybochko, Sechenov University’s rector, Mr. Christophe Gautier, General Director of Strasbourg University Hospital, Mr. Gilbert Vicente, First Counsellor to Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (University of Strasbourg), and Mr. Mikhail Yugay, General Director of Moscow International Medical Cluster.
It is planned to build Center for French Medicine as a powerful medical, scientific & educational complex by 2022. The Center will be focused on Oncology, Cardiology, Trauma and Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, etc. Besides multi-disciplinary clinical activities, the Center will become a platform for implementation of joint French-Russian educational projects.
Among the key academic medical activities of the Center supervised by Sechenov University will be CME programs, educational courses and seminars, postgraduate training programs and internships for young doctors, distance educational programs through digital imaging. Students will receive certificates of competence in various areas by completing relevant training modules.

The best international practices in medical education implemented under the framework of the French-Russian educational projects will be harmonized with the Russian educational standards," - says Prof. Petr V. Glybochko, the University's rector.
