Dr YANA SAMOKHLIB

Biography

Dr Samokhlib studied at the Donetsk National Medical University and graduated in 1990. She went on with her postgraduate training and completed it in 2003. In 2008, Dr Samokhlib took a course in Basic Electromyography in Dentistry at the Laboratory of Functional Anatomy of the Stomatognathic System of the University of Milan. She also studied at Steinbeis Hochshule Berlin in 2009–2010. Between 2012 and 2017 she conducted a research at the Department of Dental Therapy under the supervision of Prof. Makeeva. Dr Samokhlib completed her PhD thesis on in 2018.

Research Interests

Study of dental health and treatment of diseases in patients suffering from myofascial pain syndrome

Teaching

Dr Samokhlib teaches courses on teaches courses on Cariesology, Endodontics, Periodontics and on Oral Mucosal Disorders. She also teaches a supplementary course on basics of electromyography in dentistry.
