Biography

Dr Arakelyan graduated from the Sechenov University in 2009, and did her clinical residency in the Division of Dental Therapy there between 2009 and 2012. In 2017, she completed her doctoral thesis on the comparative evaluation of tools that facilitate the manifestations of xerostomia.

Research Interests

The causes of dry mouth and the factors that aggravate its manifestations; Galvanic syndrome and its consequences; Development of oral moisturises to alleviate the symptoms of xerostomia

Teaching

Dr Arakelyan teaches courses on Caries and non-carious lesions, Principles of preparation in therapeutic dentistry, Endodontics, Oral mucosa diseases and the Replacement therapy in the complex treatment of dry mouth (xerostomia).
