Dr ANNA TURKINA

Biography

Dr Turkina graduated from the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry and then did her postgraduate training at the Research Institute of Dentistry. She completed her PhD in 2005 on the impact of the root canal instrumentation method on the post-endodontic pain. ln 2004 Dr Turkina took up the position of Lecturer in Dental Therapy at the Sechenov University and was promoted to Senior Associate Director in 2015

Research Interests

Periodontal disease incidence in the general population; New technologies for the prevention of dental caries and noncaries dental problems; Dental materials; Modern technologies in endodontic therapy; Conservative treatment of apical periodontitis

Teaching

Dr Turkina teaches courses on Dental Therapy both in Russian and in English.
