Dr. Massimo Giovarruscio (UK) and Dr. Salvatore Sauro (Spain) made a working visit to the Sechenov University’s Institute of Dentistry (Department for Therapeutic Dentistry) on December 10-12, 2018.

In particular, they joined the round table on “Materials science for dentistry: the most promising research areas". It was decided to collaborate in formation of the new bioactive ceramics and development of the innovative technologies in adhesive dentistry.
Prof. Salvatore Sauro was interested in technical equipment for assessment of dental pulp status, developed by the Department for Therapeutic Dentistry under the guidance of Professor Alexander Volkov (Sechenov University). The device allows to make an estimate effects of bioactive materials on tooth tissue.
Professors have also interviewed the recommended residents who are willing to join the double degree PhD programs. As a result, 4 candidates have succeed in the interview.
