In 2017, Sechenov University approved an updated publication strategy that shows obvious goals for the University faculty members. It offers a motivation system, introduces them special aspects in preparing publications and develops a resource base for research. Now the University pays attention to increasing its research potential and citation index of scientific articles. This year research institutes of Science & Technology Park for Biomedicine demonstrate most significant rate of growth in Scopus scientific publications per faculty members of Sechenov University.

Organization of international conferences and participation in similar events may help in increasing number of publications, however citation index of such works is not enough high.
