University of Cambridge at First MSMU The Cooperation Agreement between Cambridge Medical society (hereinafter-MedSoc) and the First MSMU n. a. I. M. Sechenov Centre for Research Career was signed at First MSMU on 3 February, 2017.
The development of cooperation between the Russian Top Medical University and University of Cambridge rises to a new level. The young scientists of the two universities begin a number of joint perspective projects.
On behalf of First MSMU the meeting was attended by Prof. Andrey Svistunov (the First Vice-rector - Vice-rector for Innovation Policy and International Affairs), Dr. Denis Butnaru (the Head of the Institute for regenerative medicine), Olga Sadkovaya (Director of International Office at First MSMU) and tutors of the Centre for Research Career.
Cambridge MedSoc was represented by four medical students and Dr. James Fraser (Director of Studies in Medicine, Gonville and Caius College, the Head of Cambridge MedSoc).
During the meeting they discussed some issues of the joint research works, publications and training for young scientists.
Prof. Andrey Svistunov noted that now a priority field for our University is international cooperation: "We are interested in establishing long-term relations with Cambridge University, and an effective collaboration between the Center for Research Career and the Cambridge MedSoc".
Dr. James Fraser on behalf of the Cambridge delegation thanked First MSMU for the well-organized meeting.
Without doubt, it will lay the groundwork for a fruitful collaborative work between First MSMU and one of the oldest colleges of Cambridge University!
