UK-Russia Young Medics Association’s meeting: cooperation between young medical communities

The UK-Russia Young Medics Association successfully organized a meeting which was hosted by the Sechenov University’s Institute of Urology and Human Reproductive Health on December 7, 2018. 


Dr. Denis V. Butnaru, Director of the Sechenov University’s Biomedical Park, Prof. Yulia V. Fedorova, Director of the Sechenov University’s International School “Medicine of the Future”, and Prof. Olga L. Morozova, senior assistant in innovations, and Sechenov University’s students who have done clerkship at the UK universities, were among the participants.
Iliaya Kalinin, the 4th year student, has presented research results in confocal fluorescence microscopy methods which were achieved with support of Dr. Clare Buckley and Oscar Pena. Iliaya has recommended not to be afraid and to communicate with the foreign colleagues.
Nina Seilanova, the 4th year student of the Sechenov University’s International School “Medicine of the Future” has paid attention to importance of the medics and research staff members who work on statistics and data. It would give an opportunity to effective data processing. Nina mentioned that joint international projects would give a possibility of sharing best practices in new technologies. 


At the end of the meeting key importance of cooperation between the International School “Medicine of the Future”, the Biomedical Park and Center for Scientific Career, and the UK-Russia Young Medics Association, was highly mentioned.
