Sechenov University together with Semmelweis University (Hungary) organize International School in Surgery on October 22 – November 3, 2018!

Overview: During the elective, you will follow patients from admission through diagnostics to operation, including visits and assistance in the operating theatre. You will become an active member of the Surgical Team and will participate in the daily routine on the Surgical Wards. Furthermore, you will attend practical seminars, devoted to blood transfusion technique, wound healing, as well as workshops in the University Simulation Center (USC) and learn from physicians in small-group settings. During the workshops, you will learn how to perform such procedures as nasogastric intubation, orotracheal intubation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as well as train endo- and laparoscopic procedures on the specially designed simulators.
