British universities are ready to cooperate with Sechenov University

Sechenov University is developing international collaboration and is forming a system of long-term partnerships with foreign universities. In the framework of intensification of scientific and educational cooperation with the leading scientific and educational centers, Sechenov University initiates joint projects with the foreign partners.

The British delegation which was headed by Dame Sally Davies (the Chief Medical Officer), Gareth Wynn Owen (Head of UK Science and Innovation Network Russia), Marina Sokolova (Senior Advisor for Science and Innovation) and Tatiana Iakovleva (Senior Science Reports Writer) visited Sechenov University in May, 2017.

First Vice-rector of the Sechenov University, Prof. Svistunov noticed that Sechenov University builds long-term partnerships with a number of key international universities. It is noteworthy that Sechenov University's partner is the University of Cambridge. Both universities strengthen cooperation not only within the medical student community, but also develop collaboration in Regenerative Medicine.

Ms. Sally Davies has shown a sincere interest in the key areas of cooperation between the British universities and Sechenov University.

During the meeting both sides exchanged views on issues of joint working groups and the development of priority research projects.The University is open for dialogue and mutually beneficial partnerships with the international colleagues in education, research activities and clinical practice.
