UK-Russia Young Medics Association together with Sechenov University and British Embassy Moscow are convening a two-day scientific and educational meeting to showcase the results of a joint effort aimed at facilitating bilateral research and educational exchanges between British and Russian universities. The meeting will be a unique forum that emphasises discussion and collaboration between medical students, young doctors, early-career biomedical researchers and educators of the two countries. It will be held on March 1-2, 2019 at Sechenov University in Moscow.

One of the key aims will be to create a platform where students and young scientists could present the results of their research and engage in sharing best scientific and educational projects between Russia and the UK.  
We welcome students and young scientists from all British and Russian medical schools interested in presenting their research and participating in all international project. We strongly encourage undergraduate students as it will be a great opportunity to:
- Listen to some of the most inspiring Russian and British scientists and educators;
- Showcase your work during the oral and poster sessions;
- Meet with your peers and more established academics;
- Get familiar with exchange programmes offered by the Association;
- Increase your national and international networks;
- Learn more about medical education, research initiatives and cultural aspects of the two countries. 

We are pleased to announce a call for abstracts for the UK-Russia Young Medics Conference. Abstracts formatted according to the Abstract Submission Template must be emailed to ukrussiayoungmedics@gmail.com by Sunday 9 December, 2018.
