The 5th Swiss-Russian Health Forum has been opened at Sechenov University

On September 21, 2018 the 5th Swiss-Russian Health Forum was opened at Sechenov University.
The organizers of the Forum are “Swiss-Russian Forum” Foundation, Sechenov University, Swiss Embassy in Moscow, and the Roche" Swiss pharmaceutical company. 

The Forum agenda is Medical Education, Translational Medicine, Digital Health: meeting the challenges of the Future Today.  
The event is focused on discussion a number of issues related to development of advanced technological solutions in medicine, e-medical education, biotechnology, digitalization of medicine, organization and management of the healthcare system and provision of medical care, which is principal for healthcare workers and patients in both countries. 



Under the framework of the first Forum day Sechenov University, "Roche" Swiss pharmaceutical compan, and "Healthy Future" non-profit foundation have signed three-party cooperation agreement. 

It is focused on development of the Russian medical & pharmaceutical industry, improvement of national healthcare management system for patients with multiple sclerosis. According to the Agreement, Roche company will also provide technical assistance for any teleconferences.

Prof. Petr V.Glybochko, the Sechenov University's rector, noted that this partnership should be regarded as a long-term project, which will result in development of telemedicine services, CME system and improving quality of medical care for patients with serious diseases in Russia.
