Ms. Sophia Levakina, student of the Institute of Pharmacy (Sechenov University) became the 1st of the international GxP-summit "Choosing the best. Time ahead", which was held on July 3-6, 2018 in Sochi supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
This year a record number of participants attended the GxP summit: more than 500 applications were received from Russia, CIS countries, South Asia and the EU. The organizer of The GXP-summit decided to allow all participants whose work was marked by the Advisory Council to take part in the event. As a result of the first round, more than 150 students from the top profile Universities were selected to participate in the full-time competition at the summit site, which included Olympic part, case problem and business game. Sechenov University was represented by 5 students of the Institute of Pharmacy: Ms. Yulia Dremlyuga, Ms. Sophia Levagina, Ms. Ekaterina Rogozhkina, Ms. Tatiana Salnikova, Ms. Ekaterina Shalyapina and Ms. Valentina Salova as postgraduate student.
"It was my first experience of participation in such event, — says Ms. Sophia Levakina, the prize winner. — I believe that each member of the Sechenov University team is worthy of victory. I think I’ve managed to win thanks to the knowledge gained during study period at the University, and the ability to concentrate at the right time. I am very lucky that I have the opportunity to get the highest level of education and sharpen my professional skills."
Within the framework of the GXP summit program were competitions, presentations, meetings with the top Russian and international pharmaceutical manufacturers.
