Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Sechenov University and Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ), the specialists of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and the Russian-Japanese Cardiac Imaging Training Center of Sechenov University have undertaken internships at the top clinical centers of Japan on April 4-18, 2018. 
During the internship Mr. Andrey Belyaev, Ms. Anna Babkova and Ms. Lidia Kapanadze worked at 4 major medical institutions, including Iwate Medical University, Ehime Medical University, as well as at 2 leading Tokyo universities — Keio University and Jyuntendo University.

Sechenov University experts were presented to the leadership of Canon Medical Systems Corporation — the world leading manufacturer of diagnostic equipment.
The practical part of the training course was organized according to individual plans developed by MEJ. Our specialists have mastered a new multimodal diagnostic tactics of conducting cardiac patients, studied the methods of improving the quality of research and reducing radiation exposure on a patient. which are used in Japanese medical practice.

The Russian delegation was honored to meet with members of the Japanese government, particularly with Professor Shuzo Yamamoto, one of the heads of the Ministry of Trade, Economy and Industry of Japan, Honorary President of MEJ, as well as with the heads of Canon Medical Systems and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Consulate in Japan.
