The National Elimination Round of XIV Jules Allemand Trophy 2017/2018 and Global Clinical Case Contest (GCCC- 2018), as the most important events among dental students,  were held on April 26, 2018.

Jules Allemand Trophy is held annually among the top world medical schools, and is divided into several stages. It starts with the University contest, after that the winner presents the University at the national elimination round. This year the Contest was attended by the 13 Russian universities. The best Russian dental students had an opportunity to share best practices and to get priceless experience.

Mr. Akmal Norov (4^th grade student of Sechenov University) took first place, completing a highly esthetic rebuilding procedure that reproduces all features of the anatomy and morphology of the given samples. His work was highly appreciated by the panel. As a result, Mr. Norov will represent Sechenov University at the international contest in Italy.

The victory in the Global Clinical Case Contest 2018 was no less important. The students have introduced the clinical cases using the materials of Dentsply Sirona company.

The winner among the Russian students became Mr. Hayk Poghosyan (4^th grade student of Sechenov University, as well), who will also represent Russia and Sechenov University at the international contest in Germany in June, 2018.
