Study at Sechenov: applicants from Uzbekistan and Armenia

Sechenov University has participated in two education and career fairs — in Uzbekistan and Armenia — and presented its major study programmes to prospective applicants.

The respective events were the 21st international exhibition Education and Profession 2022, in Tashkent and Samarkand, and Education and Career EXPO, in Yerevan. During her visit to Yerevan, Ksenia Mardanova, Director of the Department of Strategic Communications at Sechenov University, spoke at the Mehrabyan Medical College and High School No. 4 in Armavir.

The most popular study programmes, according to the visitors of the education fairs, are General Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. At Sechenov University, these courses are offered in Russian and English.

Many prospective students showed interest in transferring from their local universities to Sechenov, as well as applying for residency and PhD studies. Sechenov University’s current students from Uzbekistan and Armenia provided positive feedback which was welcomed at the fairs.

Several events for prospective foreign students are planned to take place online in the near future. Representatives of Sechenov University will provide more details about application process. High school students who attended the education fairs and gave their contact details will receive e-mail invitations to participate in these events.
