Registration & regulatory seminars at Sechenov The course will teach how to organise the registration of medicines on the Russian market, in Europe, and in the Eurasian Economic Union.

 The Sechenov International Online School (SIOS) has launched the course about the registration policy and development of medicines in the Russian Federation, the Eurasian Economic Union, and in the European Union. The sessions will include online chats and questions to the speakers. The course is scheduled to take place every Monday from 11:00 to 13:00 (MST, GMT+3) until 30 November 2020.

This English-language cycle of talks is organised by the Institute of Pharmacy (Sechenov University) in co-operation with the leading pharmaceutical companies. The agenda of the next sessions is below:

October 19: Russian market evolvement, insights of 2020, and further outlook
Speakers: Prof Maria Denisova (Institute of Pharmacy, Sechenov University) and Nikolay Demidov (Director, GM IQVIA Russia & CIS)

October 26: Eastern Europe and CIS pharmaceutical markets — current status
Speakers: Prof Maria Denisova (Institute of Pharmacy, Sechenov University) and Alexey Savin (Head, Principal Consulting East Europe IQVIA)

The participants will learn how to plan the registration procedures for medications on the Russian and European markets, how to prepare the dossier, assess the regulatory documentation, and comply with the requirements. The attendees will also hear about the methods of quality control in accordance with the regulations of Russia, the Eurasian Economic Union, and the EU.

The course is expected to attract participants from Semmelweis University (Hungary), Belarusian State Medical University (Belarus), South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (Kazakhstan), Guangdong Pharmaceutical University (China), and several other Chinese universities that collaborate with the Association of Sino-Russian Medical Universities (ASRMU).
