The graduation ceremony 2020 was held on 30 June in two formats. The virtual ceremony was livestreamed on the university’s YouTube channel, while the in-person ceremony took place at the Sechenov Congress Centre. Sechenov Rector Pyotr Glybochko awarded diplomas and medals to 118 students who graduated with distinction. 

Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko who joined the live stream of the ceremony noted that many of the graduates volunteered to help treat patients with Covid-19 at Moscow hospitals this spring showing their skills and devotion.

2891 students graduated this year, 709 of whom received first-class degrees.
