Sechenov University signed a landmark memorandum with the President of the Puglia Region Michele Emiliano, the director of the Pugliese Oncology Network, and Rusatom Healthcare.

Through this new partnership, the University and the Puglia Region have both committed to working together to develop new technologies in clinical practice, early diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The collaboration will also include joint preclinical and clinical trials, educational activities for the specialists in nuclear medicine and oncology, along with academic exchange programs.

In 2020, Sechenov University aims to create a universal cancer screening platform, as well as the joint council for cancer epidemiology.
